Ikan Earns Double Recognition at NAB Show 2026

IKAN has announced two award wins at the NAB Show 2026, recognizing the company’s continued innovation in PoE and IP-based broadcast infrastructure.

While IKAN has received recognition at major industry events including IBC 2025, InfoComm 2025, and ISE 2025, the company says this year’s NAB wins carry special significance because of the show’s deep roots in the broadcast industry.

According to IKAN, the awards reflect a larger shift happening across professional production and broadcast environments, where conversations are increasingly centered around simplifying infrastructure while maintaining broadcast-grade performance.

Both award-winning products were built around a common vision: reducing the barriers that often make professional broadcast environments expensive and difficult to deploy. By leveraging PoE and IP-based workflows, IKAN aims to eliminate many of the traditional challenges associated with power distribution, complex cabling, permitting, and installation costs.

One of the recognized products, the PoE ERS light developed by Kevin Lu, brings theatrical-style optical precision to a PoE-powered fixture. Designed to operate through a single ethernet cable, the fixture delivers features such as true circular edge projection without requiring dedicated AC wiring or complex electrical infrastructure.

IKAN’s Studio Rover, developed by Shaun Kennedy, also received recognition at NAB before its first commercial units were even shipped. This is a strong indicator of industry interest in streamlined, IP-focused production workflows.

The company credited Kevin Lu, Shaun Kennedy, Brian Kennedy, and the broader IKAN team for helping drive the innovation behind these award-winning products.

In addition to the award-winning solutions showcased at NAB, IKAN released the new Lyra PoE Bi-Color Ellipsoidal LED Light (coming soon to Midwich). The upcoming fixture continues the company’s push toward flexible, network-powered lighting solutions designed for modern broadcast, studio, AV, and live production environments.

As IP-based infrastructure and PoE-powered workflows continue to gain momentum across the industry, IKAN’s recognition at NAB 2026 highlights the growing demand for production technology that is both powerful and easier to deploy.
