Point Source Solutions LLC uses Turtle AV Dante Workflow to Simplify Complex Corporate Audio

Jim “Mega” Schneider, an audio engineer with Point Source Solutions LLC, uses Turtle AV's 96 kHz Dante system to simplify the complex audio setups for corporate events and live shows. He often moves between consoles from Yamaha, Allen & Heath, and Midas/Behringer. Keeping everything reliably at 96 kHz without struggling with complicated sample-rate conversion was a real problem. Turtle AV’s Dante adapters provided a clean, dependable link between his various consoles, computers, and external gear. This maintains the high-quality, networked audio performance his clients expect.
Schneider integrates Turtle AV USB-C 2×2 Dante adapters, along with Dual XLR input and output units, directly into his Dante network. This connects playback computers, recorders, analog destinations, and video systems. On his biggest events, he might be managing over 64 channels of wireless mics, podiums, and other playback sources. All of this routes through Dante Controller and various Cisco, Ubiquiti, and Netgear switches. He calls the Turtle AV devices “rock-solid” in these stressful environments. They’ve completely eliminated his sample-rate issues and have become essential to his standard equipment list. As his shows get bigger, he plans to add products like the Mineola 4×4 rack unit and the Chazy Control hardware Dante controller.
