Midwich was proud to take part in the 43rd Annual IDEA Conference, held July 13–16, 2025, in Boston, MA. The show brought together professionals from across the information display and entertainment industry, and Midwich was proud to be on the floor presenting a range of technologies designed to give our customers complete project solutions.

 

Here’s a quick look at the tools we showcased.

Cinedeck

We highlighted Cinedeck’s new RX6 advanced video recording and playback system.  Known for their powerful ingest tools and broad codec support, this solution helps production teams streamline workflows and accelerate delivery in a new affordable compact solution.

EditShare

Boston based team EditShare was in full force showing off their collaborative media management and storage tools, including FLOW and EFS. These solutions make it easy to organize, share, and scale media projects across creative teams.

Maxon

With Maxon’s creative suite software—Cinema 4D, Redshift, and Red Giant—we demonstrated how artists can build eye-catching 3D graphics, motion design, and animations that enhance sports, live events, and broadcast.

BirdDog

We presented BirdDog’s NDI-based video solutions, including the new MAKI Live camera and MAKI Studio compact production switcher, delivering ultra-low-latency video transport. These tools are built for flexibility, making them a great fit for live sports venues and event production.

Kiloview

Kiloview’s IP video transmission gear, including encoders and decoders, was on display at our booth. These solutions make it easy for professionals to confidently transition into IP workflows while keeping operations reliable and scalable.

NewBlue

We also showcased NewBlue’s graphics and titling tools, which allow production teams to create real-time graphics, dynamic lower thirds, and engaging on-screen packages that boost storytelling and fan engagement.

Midwich on the Jumbotron

And one of the biggest highlights of the week? The Midwich sizzle reel lit up the giant screens at TD Garden, home of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. It was incredible to see our brand in the spotlight.
